A few visual changes to my 02

Hey guys, i'm pretty much automotive-retarded, and I just need a few how-to's. I just bought a pre-owned '02 and there's a few random things I want to do before I start adding on performance stuff.

First of all, is there anything hard or plastic that can be used to cover the bottom portion of the e-brake? i hate the look of that wrinkled leather-looking material

Also, on my mustang there's a tape stripe on the bottom of the door. How much would I probably be charged to take that off? (I have no way of using the hairdryer tactics to do it myself)

Also, when I bought it there was a few chips in the fiber glass on the hood. These chips are smaller than a dime, nothing big. My friend told me that they could just patch it up no problem, and my other friend told me they'd have to redo the entire hood. Which is the case?

well it does depend on how bad the damage is. but if they are that big, they will probably have to repaint it! i dont know much about the parking brake boot.

I doubt theres a plastic boot for the Parking brake considering it has to move up and down when you apply and release the parking brake so it has to be some cloth or leather that can move with the lever. You could try removing it and covering the hole up where the boot was with plastic and have a very narrow opening as wide as the parking brake lever itself but the whole point of the boot is to keep dust and dirt out of the assymbly
