Front license plate+ugly holes
So, I have finally decided to ship my mustang to Germany (The air force is actually paying for it!
) The problem is, German law requires a front license plate. I am wondering if I just drill the holes, will I be able to fill them in with some sort of compound after I move back to the states? How will it look after I do so? Or should I just try and be creative and mount it between the bottom of the front fender and the actual bumper? |

I figure the double-sided automotive tape will leave all sorts of nasty on my bumper that won't come off without some sort of strong chemical that might affect the paint on my bumper. Not only that, I'm going to be doing 150+mph on the autobahn, not too sure if double sided tape is up for the challenge.
I was thinking about doing it between the fog lights, maybe make a bracket that bolts to the top, but then again, the license plate is dangling and at 150+mph, that might not last long, I am in the Kaiserslautern area, already been living here for eight months. |

go to moss web site they have a flip down licence plate holder I think its about 50 bucks or so but you can flip it up when your driving then flip it down when you you don't want people to see it also I think that you mount it on the bottom of your front bumper so the holes that your going to drill will be on the bottom of your bumpeso when you come back to the states no holes to repair
P.S good luck over there BE SAFE |
