Super Glue?

I have a problem, there has been this squeek coming from beside my shifter since I bought my car. I finally took off the cover and disconnected the cigarette lighters power cable and found where it is coming from. There are four rectangular holes in which four clips slide into from the shifter cover. One of the holes has a broken side so it looks like \_| instead of |_| . Is there anything strong enough to get it to hold into place. I used Bondo Bond but it doesn't work. Thanks guys.
