what do you guys think of the black fr500's? i was thinking of putting them on my sonic cobra. doing the deep dish 17x10.5 in the rear and regular 17x9 in the front. i have the stock, NONCHROME svt rims on it now. just wanted your opinions

i like chrome fr500 on the ligher blue cars. do they make a deep dish chrome fr500 yet? look into AFS wheels on ebay if you want a real good wheel/tire package for about 1 grand or less. what do yall htink about black wheels on the lighter blue cars?

It I think the black wheels are schweet either way, but on that car I'd probaly have to go with an aluminum wheel. Then again I might go black... all these choices I CAN'T TAKE IT!

have one of the guys in vid/pic/choipshop chop some pics of your car with different wheels. that way you can get a general idea of what the different styles/colors look like with your paint etc. the more i think about it, the more black on lighter cars rubs on me. i remember Steed's black fr500 on his white mach 1- killer

I think you're best bet is silver or chrome 18s with the real FR500 centercaps. Deep Dish in the rear. You can't use the centercaps in the 17s (those use smaller caps) but if you're creative enough, you might be able to seperate the backing off of the ones they give you, center and superglue the SVT ones on, and use some tool to grind it down to the right size since the SVT ones will probably be a little bigger. SVT centercaps on black fr500s would look rediculous.

18" hypercoated saleens are the shit. so are chrome saleens. and if you can get black svt rims, damn, you will be the only person i know with powdercoated black svt rims. it would cost about 60-80 bucks a wheel to powdercoat BTW

yeah, i've seen the sonic w/ anniversary rims, does look really good. i've always been someone who has modded the car as well as doing cosmetic enhancements to be different, but damn, i cant think of anything to do to the cobra that would really make it look way better then how it looks completely stock. damn cobra

look into it. IMO you would be one of the rare (and the only one i know of) cobras with powdercoated wheels. plus, it would look killer too.

I like the set up Atlantic Blue 99 is runnin. Black Bullit's w/ the chrome lip. Slap on the deep-dish style in the rear and call it a day. I'm obsessed w/ black rims w/ the chrome lip.

You can say that again, if I could change the look of mine I'd get rid of all the flashy shit, go w/ a tinted/smoked lighting set up w/ limo tints and the rim set up your running (deep-dishes in the rear of course). The clean, sleak look is in and I love it. I like how flashy my car is but it attracts too much attention...
