Stone Chip on my Windshield
I very rarely drive my 2003 Mach 1 but last Saturday I took it out on the interstate to give it some exercise and out of nowhere a road peeple hit my windshield. It chipped my windshield dead center about the size of pea.
QUESTION: What do I do????? (beside saying a few f"s and s"s)

If a car kicked up the rock, you can get insurance money from that car's owner to cover that. If you find the car again, stalk them until they park somewhere and then show them what they did to your beauty.

womnt work. you have to be able to prove that they did it. and there is no way to prove that that rock came off of their tire. its just not possible. i say go get the chip filled in so it wont spread and if its that big of a deal, buck up and pay to get it replaced!

Forget about it, you drive anycar sooner or later its going to get chips in its windshield, im only replacing mine cause it has a big ass crack in it, but if it gets chips oh well, that comes with driving the car. My brother in law he got a new windhsield in his truck and a week later a big ass rock came out of no wheres and basicly shattered the whole windshield.

i know our state farm covers it for free replacement, no deductable for windshield chips/cracks/fissures. if you dont have that coverage, just fill it for now or spend a few hundred to replace. go factory quality though. some of the aftermarket shit i very cheap and hazy glass especially when wet

Thanks for the info...I personally like the comment that I should stalk the SOB..it happen to come from a Rotor Rooter trunk that threw the stone. Anyways I took it into Safelite Auto Glass they buffed it and sealed it for $59.95 plus tx. If you knew where to look you would see it, if not it's hard to catch. They feel it won't spread since I had it repaired so quickly. Thanks again all
