im thinking of doing my taillights..but...is it illegal? i got the 94-95 style so i dont think it will be TOO noticible...

it is most likely illegal, at least i know it is here in california, but i have a spare set of stock tail lights for when i get pulled over

Great write up!!!! This is a VERY nice visual mod to do to a car...especially dark colored cars, it makes them look alot meaner.

you take regular sand paper and dip it in water before you sand, its to keep the surface clean and so your not rubbing the grit that comes off all over.

yes just use the exact same steps, just apply way less tint spray because the more you put on the dimmer your headlights will be

Very nice write up! I'll keep it in mind, my Mustang is red with Tinted windows, and this would be great to improve it visually!

well, this thread was started like 3 years ago. is the original person that did the rear tail light tint still on the forum? if so, i would like to know how this visual mod had held up to the test of time. i really like the look, but would rather leave it stock then mess it up, or do something that looks great for only a couple months.
