Interior Neon Lighting?

Would anyone happen to have or know anything about interior neon lighting? I was talking to someone about it today and they said it looks pretty cool, but i want to be the judge of that, lol.

oh, and pictures would definately be nice if anyone's got any.

well i think it would look good if its done in moderation... and not to step on any toes cause everyone has their opinion and im not bashing that oh and 8t6gt im just quoting you for an example nothing more.... but it kills me cause anytime sum1 talks about a mod sum1 in the crowd screams THATS RICER!!! well i admit ricers have ruined alot of good mods but pretty soon there isnt goin to be any mods left cause ricers are goin to ruin all of them...so do to ur car what u like EXCEPT Fart canon, EXCESSIVE neon thats shows light source, large spoiler, crappy multi-colored bodykit and youll b ricer free..

i agree with him ^^^

just avoid the following:

-fart cans
-oversized spoilers
-underbody glow
-excessive stickers
-unpainted carbon fiber
-boost gauges etc... w/o actually running boost
-anything involving the company DUB

...do that and you should be good

if you want you could try placing light bars near the floor area

i think that would look pretty neat and then pull out the dash and replace all the led's with differnt colored ones

I like some ambient lighting on the floor. I have small blue 4" lcd's up under my dash. The car is put away, but I'll see if I can get some pictures put up later.

In this vid you can kinda see the blue glow from the floor.

put some pics up, i wanna see your oh so special car, and thanks everyone that replied, i think they might look good, just like one under the dash on each side, and do you think there's a way to change the color of the bulb in a head unit? cause i'd love to do that to mine, make it green.

i've thought about doing some dim ambient lighting in the interior.. i wouldn't want it to be visible outside the car & i would want it to be pretty dim inside too... but it's not a bad idea if you don't put so much light inside that it looks like a circus wagon!

lol thx man

I may have been pushing it a little bit I only ended the clip early, because the Canon records fairly high quality video in stereo, so if I push the clips much past 50 seconds, they go over 100mb in size and Youtube or Photobucket won't take them....I seriously may fire my old server up just to host my own shit. lol

DB, I will score you some pictures this evening when the sun goes down brother.

Yeah exactly. I've always had footwell lighting in my big trucks at work, so I kinda feel naked when I'm in a vehicle without it. It's actually also handy at night if you drop cash or coins or something at a drive thru, or drop anything for that matter; you can look down and find it instantly.

But yeah I'm not a huge fan of over lighting the interior.
