Sunroof

So, I have seen some stangs with Sunroofs in them. I dont think any mustangs came with these stock.

So, for thoese that have the Sunroofs could you post some pics and any info on them? Where did you get them? How much? Any probs with them?

It's custom work, so it depends on the shop's quality of work, worse case is leaks and rust...

I saw one on the Highway the other day with one. So im hoping theres a shop near here that can do them. I want a vert.... but the weight and insurance for them are crazy Lol.

this was already on mine when i got it,good thing is more air in the nights an days,bad thing is blind the shit out of u an really hot on the head if the sun is just right,. dont do it,wish the god it didnt have it on it but the wife wanted it an it leaks sometimes

verrrry few stangs came stock with sunroofs from ford but only a few years of stangs... but personally I think sunroofs on stangs are dumb! sunroofs are for chick cars!

...well if thats the case then my wife drives it more than i do,an there not really dumb,there pretty neat in the summer nights on a long drive,especially with the sound of exhaust

I had a sunroof in my 93 Taurus SHO and yes it was nice and everything but it was just another thing to break. and everyone knows fords are good n all its just little things that break and piss you off.

and also I didn't like it much because you couldnt have it open because the sun would bake you and you couldn't have the slotted shade/cover shut while the sunroof was open, and you couldn't go over 50 with out the sound of the wind irritating you. but thats just me. seems like the women liked my sunroof more than i did?????

but if you like em get one.

running on the highway around 65 to 70mph an u couldnt even tell it was up there, i like it dont get me wrong but it has its downs to it

yeah they can be nice from time to time but its just another thing to leak or break and weigh a stang down... but yours looks like it was nicely put in.

it also weakens the structure because there is now a hole in the middle of the roof. i think it can look good but if its not done right it can be costly
