Chin Spoiler Install


hey i have a 2000 mustang n i just got my billet upper and lower grill and a chin spoiler from AM. I havent looked yet cuz of the snow but do you have to drill any holes to install the chin spoiler? i think i heard sumone say sumthign about that. And if not what size bolts and shit should i use instead of thpse BS plasic clips

yes you might have to drill it. just use what you can find/get your hands on. make sure there is also a washer on there too

Ya I dont think the plastic clips would be that durable. Some small bolts with washers should work for you. Lets see some pics of the install and the result !

don't forget to let the spoiler lay out in the sun for about an hour so it can take its original shape again

yea it sat on my dinning room table all night and it seems to have taken its shape back... it came in the with bullit upper and lower grill so when i get it all in ill post some pics

i left mine out on the table overnight and in the morning, it had it's normal shape. yes, you will have to drill holes into the bumper to mount it. just get a roll of painter's tape to hold it in place while you drill the holes. make sure you've got it mocked up right, cause once you drill, there's no turning back. i still have the plastic clips holding mine on and it's been on for over a year. but i do plan on putting some bolts in there. you'll love the way the car looks after you put it on, it really changes the look of the front end...

thats what i figured... shouldn't be a problem ill do it at school and clamp it in place or use tape idk whatever but ill post a picture once i get that and the grill (upper/lower) on
