Changing 02 Automatic Shift Knob

Does anybody know how to, or how difficult it would be to replace a shift knob in an automatic 2002 mustang? Is it as easy as unscrewing and screwing in the new one or is there things you need to consider and adjust when installing the new knob? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the forums.
you would need to relocate your O/D button other than that it's just a screw in the back and it will come right off.

thanks for the response hmusn, i found another post regarding the same thing that you responded to and it seems like that guy had tons of problems replacing it. in light of all that i don't think it's worth it, but thanks again for the info.
