Painting Brake Calipers...
ok i seen a post some where arround here about painting them but i couldnt relocate it. soooo how would I go about doig it? and also the only caliper paint I have found only comes in black, blue, red and yellow, oh and silver, so I was woundering if i could use just the high temp spray paint? and if i can the 1200degree one or the 500degree one???? iam looking into painting them white since i have yet to see anyone with white calipers. probly cuz i would have to clean them all the time. lol thanks

I just used high temp paint, but the caliper paint would probably last longer. Lightly sand the area for good adhesion, and clean it with brake cleaner prior to painting. Mask everythign off and tape garbage bags in and around the fenderwells and you can paint the calipers with the hoses still attached. It looks best if you at least take the calipers off the pads so you don't go painting those and the rotors. I also painted my caliper brackets black for a clean look.

is the "cobra" in raised letters? if so, you can take some sandpaper to em & they will have a cool brushed aluminum look...
