k you have a 96 mustang....that 99-04 saleen kit will not fit without some serious fabricating...

why waste soo much money on it anyway?

if you want the 99-04 saleen kit, it looks a lot like the sn95, but you would need the fenders, quarterpanels, hood, bumpers, side skirts, doors- and then cut out the mounts for the headlights since they are 2 piece pre99 and one piece 99-04

no you dont the kit is already fabricated to fit the 94 through 98s..go to mrbodykit.com and go to 94 through 98 body kits and its like the 2nd or 1st one..

exactly. the sn95 saleen kit bolts on, but if you want the 99-04 kit, you will have to make it work. the only reusable parts will be the roof, windshields, side mirrors. the c panels will need replacement too to match to contour of the rear quarter panel of the new edge

ok, show me a 97 mustang that bought a 1999-2004 saleen body kit and just bolted it up and fit prefect...

IT WONT BOLT UP and fit nice, IT JUST WONT. thats like saying you can put a 2000 GT front bumper on any 96-98 and will fit nice and perfect

the 99-04 kit comes to fit a 99-04 perfect.....not a 96-98...

it is the "stlye" of a 99-04, but made to fit the sn95. that is an sn95 body kit. if it were a 99-04 body kit, it would be molded to fit the 99-04. also, fiberglass willl crack and chip very easily. i would save up for polyurethane or you will be looking for a new kit in no time

not to mention $2000 for a body kit is A RIP OFF TO THE MAX!
ive have never seen a $1k body kit let alone $2k

what i think he's tryin to say is that he has a 96 gt. and the company he wants to purchase a kit from has a kit that makes your car appear to have 99 and newer pieces on it. I've seen it too. I have almost purchased this kit also. just not sure. hte kit has a new compound they use for the bumpers its a mix fiberglass and abs plastic. looks nice.
