Which Wheels


ok guys im having serious trouble choosing wheels...should i go with the deep dish cobra wheel 17/9 17/10.5??or 18 saleen wheel 18/9 18/10??i was first wanting the saleen wheels but then when i saw the deep dish chrome cobras they looked mean and sweet but they are only 17s...what do you guys think and its going on a 1996 mustang gt dark green color...help me please...

i like them both. i went with 18s for looks. and going with 18s tire prices get a lil high, might wanna think about that. but if u get the 17x10.5 in rear u know u have to get 315s!

the tires will cost about the same because the cobras are wider. plus they are both pricie because they have to be Z rated! lol

dang where do u buy tires at? ive seen 315/35/17 for $110. tell me where i can get a 315/35/18 for that much.

peerless the damand is higher for 17s than 18 here. lol

so you guys dont think the cobras will look more muscular and mean because they are pretty deep you know look on ebay..

17 is better for performance, but cobras have been played out since...well since people used to say "played out" also 245s on a 10.5 wide rim, if they fit at all, will look stupid...same for 265s, but again i doubt they'd even fit. saleens are cool...looking, but too large, too heavy. why not bullitt rims? deep dish and black IMHO will look good and perform well. BTW, my 245/50/16 tires cost more than the $110 that was quoted for the large 17 inch tires...you get what you pay for. my2cents

right well i think i will go with the cobra deep dish not one person has them here and i think they are mean looking i just looked up tire prices on jegs and they are cheap..so if i get the 17/9 and 17/10.5 what is the exact tire sizes should i get for all four tires??

18" saleen rims in chrome on a dark color sn-95 would be hot

well the 17/9 go on the front and 17/10.5 go on the back so you have to buy different tires for the front and back. the 17/10.5 should be a little more expensive because they are wide.

here ya go man. i know a bunch of guys running these. theyre good for the street, but thats about it. (they dont hook for ****) but it wont kill ur pocket :wink

for the rears get the 315/35/17 and for the fronts u can go 255/40/17.

17x9 in the fronts just do the 275/40/17's.
