remove stickers


whats the easyest way to take off the mustang stickers on the side of my car? check out my garage for pics!!!

bad idea. Your car is a 1998 that means that your paint on the rest of your car has seen 10yrs of weather and such and the paint under the sticker hasn't seen anything. When you take off the stickers the paint is gonna look way different.

so blow dry it first, then sray with windex, then razor it off

blow dry one end of it to get the glue soft.. try and peel it up with a finger nail..
if that doesn't work use the razor.
from there slowly peel using the windex to keep everything wet.

Agreed .. heat the stickers and they should peel off. I used some bug/tar remover (ford brand) to get the glue off. Wash it good and put some polish on it should be good to go (hope the paint matches)

i used the blow dryer and it worked fine. no marks...my car has been housed in a garage until a few monthes ago so not too much weather damage

removing a decal from a car


if you are removing a decal from a car that is on a painted area, don’t use a metal razor blade as its easy to scratch the paint. Depending on the size of the job (i.e. small or large) I know of 2 products. There is a video demo at Wonder Products | Removing Decals, Vinyl and Stickers the Easy Way[/url]. (one does big areas and the other small areas) Hope this helps. P.S if you need a cheap product that is chemical free to remove the goo or adhesive, try eucalyptus oil (its chemical free and available at most supermarkets).
