Headlight enclosure vs. HID kitsI'm confused, my questions are: - Are 9007 bulbs HID bulbs? - What temperature are they? - Why does AM offer HID kits as well? - What's the point of buying an expensive HID kit when you can buy a whole new headlight enclosure with "brighter" 9007 bulbs? Any help clarifying for me would be greatly appreciated, even a link referring me to somewhere else I can read about it. I'm just lost on the whole subject. Thanks.

![]() This is an HID kit. You have the new 9007 "HID" Bulbs, Ballast to make them work (think flurescent lights ), and wiring to connect them to the car. Notice this is JUST the bulbs, an HID kit. ![]() This is the "Euro Chrome Housing". Its simply a housing, you provide the blubs (reg 9007 or HID) to go in them. Hope this helps ya.

Just be carefull on what kit ya buy. Ya, VVME has good prices but there shipping and customer service sucks. Plus the bulbs are huge and the High/Low beams are switched.
