But my 1984 GMC Caballero turns classic in January so will you let me join your "Classics or GTFO" at that time? =P

Furthermore even if the spoiler was made for the new edge (which technically it wasn't it was a revision of what came on the classic Mach) I think it can add a nice subtle change to the front end of the stock 94-98 fascias without having to buy an entirely new one. Besides, what are the options? Cobra Front? Saleen Front? Or a shit load of ghetto ricer looking kits? Fuck all that noise cuz I don't wanna be a "Poser" with a cobra bumper and only a 3.8 under its hood. But I will take the poser with the mach 1 lip.

lol yeah i would easily go with a chin spoiler over a complete new bumper, much easier/cheaper...unless you are going for a completely different look

sounds really stupid to put a cobra emblem on your v6 regardless of what you think about it, chin spoilers a waste of money IMO and the classic mach 1 above is nice but does kinda take on the appearance of a snowplow with the front spoiler hangin the way it does.

Putting cobra emblems on a car is telling people it's a cobra, when it isn't. that is misbadging and is frowned upon by most people.

chin spoiler is the best $100 I've spent on my car. It really adds to the front end more than pictures can show.

I understand you wanna make your car look better and not spend too much money, but imo a stock front on pre99's looks 907096124 times better than one with a chin spoiler. Get some fog lights or something... or HID's

Yeah that's my car and thanks for the compliment. Its the eibach pro-kit, with all isolators removed.

Any lower and you will have to cut the springs or get bagged as far as I know, and along with that comes other headaches.

do you have the sportlines in on the pic you posted above??

Sportlines give about the same drop as the pro-kit w/out iso's

Iso's are the pieces of rubber that go between the control arm and the spring. Their only purpose is to quiet the ride a little bit. Without them, you have metal to metal contact which can lead to creaking noises, generally in the back. They aren't necessary to have, though.

If you have the the sportlines in that pic posted about, it doesn't look like it. I would try removing the isolator's if that's the case.

Also, you should need caster/camber plates for the sportlines or the pro-kit w/out iso's in order to get it aligned properly.

EDIT-- i see in another post you just got them. in that case, install them and I would leave the iso's in. It will give you a very similar drop to my car. You will need c/c plates btw.

I drove on mine for a month or two. Whenever you drop over 1.5", your camber exceeds the adjustability of your stock c/c plates. In other words, your going to have a massive negative camber that you will not be able to correct. Negative camber is good for handling but bad for the wear and tear on your tires. The insides of your tires are going to wear out quickly.

I got the Maximum Motorsports 4-bolt cc plates for 189 shipped to my door. those are the ones i'd recommend.

not sure what they are or how they work, but from a quick search on google, it isn't something I would do.

For a quick and cheap fix, drill the holes out a bit.

Personally, i'd save for cc plates. do it right.
