Black w/ Gold

I had a 96 GT with some gold accents. The bumper "Mustang GT" I did gold. The pony emblem on the front was gold plated, and the Calipers....gold, the running pony on the 17in stock alloy rims I painted gold. The outer oval of the ford emblem was gold as well. I'm selling that car and I just bought a black 01 cobra. My question to you guys is what do you think gold plated cobra emblems would look like? I almost have my mind set to it...but I want some opinions tho...

I think that would look good. But not the back bumber letters in gold.

yeah...i was just talkin about the right and left cobra emblems and the front cobra emblem i have on the front. and then the svt emblem on the trunk

I think it would be a good looking original mod to do the emblems because they are small and it is a small accent, Glad you aren't thinking about the rear inserts. they are just too big and would be too much gold pimpy looking

. post some pics if you do it. You arn't going to paint them are you? they should be done just like chrome is done. paint will look so cheap.

I'm in the same boat sorta. I have a 95 'vert and it came~ with the gold emblems. But with time they're starting to fade. So I'm sending them to get redone so that my car is all black with only a few gold accents. And then Getting a second set in all black for when I do that shady night stuff.

LoL.

Good move IMO. But like they and you said, STAY AWAY FROM THE BUMPER MAN! And gold cobra = sexy if it's a good gold and not Mr. T necklace gold.
