Paint codes / matching

Is torch red on a 2003 stang the same as performance red on an 01?

torch red has a paint code of D3, and performance red has a code of ES

but they look really similar... so I was just wondering if they just renamed it or something?

one is brighter than the other...my girls gt is an 01 with red and my friend has a v6 with red that is a lil bit darker, you wouldnt notice if u saw them apart tho
