Intake color opinion...

Howdy,
I just installed a set of Flowmaster Original 40's, and I have been ITCHING to get an intake installed. I plan on ordering through demolet.com because he offers a full length plastic fenderwell application. He also offers to have the intake painted to match your car's color code by a Ford technician. Would you go with the normal black intake? Or paint it oxford white to match my 2002. It's only an extra $20-$30 to have it painted...and I really think it would be original. It certainly won't be the easiest thing to keep clean, but again...it'd be different. Or go with black because a white intake might look strange in the engine bay.

i personally think that white would look really good. everyone always have black or the chrome finish. Painting it would look good

The only concern I would have is that it will get dirty quickly being in the engine bay, and you need to find out if the paint can stand up to the heat. I know that my hood doesn't have a blanket on it and it messed the paint up bad. Personally when I get my intake I'm painting it myself with some high heat paint from autozone, just did it with my headers to protect them from rust and it turned out excellent.
