classic paint

Alright so I've been wondering for a couple weeks now and had no luck finding info. I'm looking to paint my car green (from white) and trying to find out estimated ballpark prices. Of course this would be easy if I could use a phone or drive to a shop but I can't. So if anyone knows about how much it should be costing me to get a 67 Fastback sanded and repainted please let me know. Thank you

very minor scratch/dent repair, no rust where the paint covers, and just an eye-catching, good looking paintjob, no need for show-quality though.

Yeah its gunna be on th upside of that estimate. It's costing me 1200 just to paint the up and back side of the hood and do some sanding work. Make sure you don't settle for the lowest price. You want someone that will the entire car apart and not 1 spot of white. When people are looking at your car, you don't even want the thought ever crossing their minds that the car was ever a different color. Good luck to ya!

Damn, well thanks for the insight guys. Looks like I'm gonna have to figure something out with this new price. My plans had the paintjob at $2000-$3000, I might have to switch some things around.

eh not saying you couldnt get it painted for 2-3 but thats just what it would be a 2-3000 job. meaning yeah it would probgally look okay but you would more than likely not be happy with it and do you really want a complete color change that is just okay?

And im speaking from experiance here, there is alot of work involved in painting an entire car the right way not to mention a color change.
