just got my chin spoiler...it came with the plastic clips to hold it on....anyone use these? have any problems? should i secure it with these or should i go out and get some bolts and washers?

I havent done this but i heard you should bolts and washers, plastic is more of a temporary use only

nuts, bolts, and washers... if you are looking for a good price, ACE is the best place... thats where i got parts for my ghetto fog light set up... PO didn't include any hardware

they make the same pins it comes with but with a steel center instead of the plastic. that's what i am using. now personally i would not use the nut, bolt, washer deal because i slid into a snow bank with my car and it ripped the chin spolier off (well broke the pins) now im sure that if i had done that with the nuts, bolts, washer then it would of ripped my bumper up

I used the plastic clips and had to shoe string it up one night when some of the clips busted off. I used some nuts and bolts. Your chin spoiler will give out/push in or out before your bumber rips off.

go with nuts an bolts,i ripped about 6 plastic pins off my just barley touching a stop bump at the hosiptal
