yes, esp if that is the only thing carbon fiber. just keep it stock, it's not like that carbon fiver is going to do anything significant to the car

trunk would be a bad idea the mustang is light enough in the rear as is

Sounds like something I would do...it would go well with a CF hood and some black accents

^^^^ true it would look nice but like GF said ours cars are already light in the rear.....if he ever gets gears LOL forget it!?!?!? NO traction FTW

+1 you can take off to much weight in the rear and have problems.
