window louvers


does anyone know if the metal rear window louvers are better than the plastic?

I heard the plastic dont fade as fast and dont rattle. Wait for more responce before purchasing.

well ive heard just opposite of that, that the plastic fades and warps fast, i was just wondering if anyone had anymore information about it

I hear mixed comments as well. so its best to wait for responces from those that have them. I imagine there are good plastic and cheap out there. I like them on the stang-gives a real old school look.

Well I was looking at the ones from Americanmuscle so I figure that they would be pretty good quality

sorry i got nothign there is a post up above with some pics and stuff. but as far as gettign them.. talk to american muscle or mrbodykit.com i would think. i know there are versions out there with a latch system that allows you to lift them up as well to clean your windows

i have the rear louver and its plastic, doesnt seem to be fading at all, i apply armor all to it when i detail the car and it makes it shine alot, plus no rattle!

my digicam is acting weird on me, im going to buy a new 1 soon, maybe tomorrow, as soon as i do ill snap some pics but its just the same as the day i bought it, almost a year ago

it installs with double sided tape on the hinges, so you can raise it up to clean the glass without taking the louver all the way off incase you were wondering
