Anyone Have Pics With Tinted Tails?

I am thinking of switching from the tail light covers over to just the tint film kits. I have seen some on ebay that have the reverse piece cut out and some that do not, and i am also wondering about the % of the luights, 1 guy is selling 20 or 5, what would be best? Thanks guys

btw i got the dark tint off of ebay cant remember the seller but they cost like 25 shipped and everything.

probably rvinyl. thats were i got mine from. they aslo have a site rvinyl.com

i thought tinted tails were illegal? When my car was taken to get tinted i asked how much to tint the tails and the shop said it was illegal in MD. I thought there was a visibility clause that said brake lights had to be able to be seen from a certain distance away (500 or 600 ft). Anyone know if it is in fact illegal or legal or a webpage with info on it? i tried searching on google for it but didnt find anything

i think they are illegal, the funny thing is the lights still shine throught them just fine. At night you cant really tell they are tinted, when the lights are on.

hey guys new here but i got the spray which is probably cheaper but you have to sand down the lights and stuff...

Niteshade isn't bad, but you have to do a lot of prep work + wet sanding to really make it come out well. There's a guy on ebay, if you really wanna go all out, paints the lights with 1 coat of ppg black then 3 coats of clear. Looks real nice but they're like 119. You can then send your old ones in for like 35 bucks back. Not bad, especially if you have a few sets of lights hanging around.

how bad is the install on these, ive never tinted windows or anything is it about the same? i see a few kits on ebay for like 20 shipped so i may check it out, i have blackouts now, but i like i said before i love the lines and style of the lights and the covers are just solid and plain i guess.
