Louvers, Anyone?

I just got a 2002 white mustang and am very anxious to add to the look of the car. I love the retro look with the rear louver on the mustang. Does anyone have any suggestions of what kind are the best looking/best made and where to find them? Prices? Anyone who has pics of their cars with the rear louver, feel free to share. Suggestions are appreciated. Thanks alot

they remind me too much of the 80's and the cameros. i don't like them at all.
i think they are guady.

but to each is own.

I've seen some really nice looking ones and I have seen some that make me want to gag, but your best bet is to just search the net for them and find a set that you like the look of.

Ive been looking only for 1 that i saw once but no luck .... and yeah to some their taste , ya might likem or not .... they have modern or classic looking louvers

They mess up visibility really bad. Some states have outlawed them.

like stated above, i think they look way too much like F Body Camaros and firebirds. But i will admit i have seen one mustang that it looked good on.

I researched these rear window Louvers, and I must admit they do look better on a 67 Mustang than an 04.

I would need them mounted on a hinge joint if I had any hope of cleaning my rear window ever agian.

They seem to always cost around $500.oo and that's a bit too much I think.
Then, who do you buy from, or what brand?

It's a pity they are not made of carbonite, or Lexxon so a person could see through them a bit better.

I once heard they add a lot of wind drag to the car, and cost you too much horsepower. ... ... ... Is that true?

Clearly your looking in the wrong places. Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle has them for 300 shipped.
I dunno about the wind drag, i doubt it would change much, but they stick on the window, they are not going to change your horsepower. I think they look badass and will be getting them soon.

i hate rear window louvers. Now the rear side window louvers i like, as long as they arnt to big. But it is your car and i say put whatever you want on it to fit your liking.

the rear window louvers do not look on the the 99-04 stangs.
The 05+ mustangs look good with them on there and I have them and they do not effect visability. The side window louvers, however do effect visability. Most times when I'm backing out of a space, I have to slowly, and I mean very slowly back out.
