What do you think of this?

Mustang Smoked Tail Light Covers (99-04) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

Do you think the covers look better than the actually tinting them?

And what do you think it would be cost wise to have a place tint them for you compared to just buying the covers?

covers=ghey. Just either spray tint them or do a regular tint. There is a sticky on how to regular tint them and i dont believe that it would cost must for the tint off of ebay.

i have a feeling that if I would try to tint them myself I may mess up somehow. I'd rather have a shop do it...But then it would most likely be more expensive...so idk

I dont like the covers at all. If your scared to do the spray tint, you can get the actual tint for them. The tint would be alot harder to mess up. Its would be pretty easy.

when people post pics of their spray on tint, it always looks really good, and I don't see how you can really mess up spray... lol

Do what you thinks best. I have the covers, and if/when you get pulled over for it being tinted, they Covers come right off compared to the tint which you can keep getting ticketed for.

A number of ways actually, not sanded all the way and the tint peels off, getting a run in it, getting dirt or some other trash in it, etc........

Im not saying its hard, but if he is scared to mess it up im saying there is less of a chance of messing up the tint film as opposed to the spray.

spray or tint the headlights also. It does affect the visability depending on how dark you get them.

here is how you tint them. It is a good sticky/walkthrough

How to Install Tail Light Tint (vinyl)

NO COVERS- it takes away the staggered lens look that is awesome looking. way too flat and smooth for my taste.
