Cost to touch up

How much would you all think it would cost to fix a 2 inch scratch on my front bumper. Thanks

Just get them to redo the whole bumper. It might even be a bit cheaper because they won't have to blend anything. Get a few estimates too.

200-400depending on where you take it. I personally would never blend the clearcoat, my reason being is clear coat is not desinged to be blended. When the clear fully cures and all the chemicals have crosslinked you cant go back and "blend" the clear coat. No matter what anyone tells you there will be a line where the new clear coat ends and is sitting on top of the old clear, you cant get the new clear to crosslink with the old clear because you cant redo the chemical reaction in the original clear. That means there is a chance that the new clear will start to peel in the "blend" area. On something like a bumper cover I would either have the scratch touched up with touch up paint or get the whole bumper repainted(the scratch repaired, blended base coat, and a full re clear of the bumper).

i pretty much got a same problem except i have a big chip off the back of my bumper. a local family shop said they would take the bumper off, and just repaint the whole thing for like $180 but i doubt ull find one anywhere for less than that
