Hmm...this is going to be a very difficult decesion. What about getting a tan light bar; then doing a black strip that follows along the middle of the light bar. To give it almost a two tone look? Or something along the lines...any opinions on that?

So again real crude and its yellow but you ll get the idea of what im saying.

I think the two tone would be cool, something ive never seen before. But paint the "outside: black and the "inside" tan. That way its like your car black on the outside and tan on the inside.

Yeah that's what I'm saying...I'll take your crude over nothing though . I think it would be bad ass looking. Because, like you said, it hasn't been done or you don't see it, and it would "flow" real nice with the car.

I must say when i first thought of this way of two tone i kinda liked it, but now that i see this picture and get a better idea of what it will look like i have to say you will be foolish not to paint it like this if you want a two tone. I think it will look bad ass

I don't know about painting it, these are usually ordered that way. However this is the first two toned I ever saw. I understand more vendors are doing custom colors now.

Well we will need to find out what it is made of first. If it is leather, then i will recomend SEM leather and interoir dye. Dont let the "dye" name scare ya, it goes on just like spray paint. You can even get it in quarts if you want to use a real spray gun. They also come in the color codes for interiors, so you wont have to worry about it matching.

I have used this stuff many times for fixing or changing the color on dashes and i have never had a complaint.

I'm definatley going to put the money into making this two toned when I buy it. Just because it is unique and I dont' think it's be done like that before. You think I just should call CDC and ask em' what it's made of?

This is gonna look so bad ass, ill tell you the truth im not really a fan of light bars, BUT i think with how your going to paint it, its gonna be real nice and i will like it.



Yeah that would be great, call them up and find out what its made of and we can get a better plan worked out.

I can't see the pictures of what it would look painted two-tone, so I'll just comment about the 2 different colors....Honestly, I think it would look good either way. At least you're keeping something consistent. I saw a picture of a guy with a Laser red 2000 GT, parchment interior and a black light bar...that looked goofy to me.
