Light Bar

Okay I've made the decision that I want a light bar. But I can't decide what color. I have a black 2001 Cobra Vert with a black top and the tan interior. From the factory the black w/ tan interior usually had a tan top, but it's a brand new spankin' top put on

. Any ways, what color should the light bar be? Black or Tan?

You can go either, but I'd go with black. I have parchment BUT I have a blue car...so I HAD to do parchment light bar. You getting from CDC?

IMO BLACK works for you. : ) Congrats on deciding on it, has a nice look.

I know..I waited a year. BUT I am sorry I waited so long to do it. You'll be very happy with the look. We love ours can ya tell?

So you think the black won't screw up the look with the tan interior? I'm thinking if I got black it'll just be like it's "following" the exterior black color.

When you think about the light bar's shape, it IS going around the interior and becomes in a sense, part of the exterior. So....: ) I'd do it in black.

You can do a test yourself...if you have digital software, draw a bar in black and you picture then do one in tan..print it and look for a while. If I remember your tan color is darker than my parchment, so you will have brownish look <whiskey colored> in the midst of your black car.

But try that. : )

I like the photoshop idea....I would have said match your interior since it attaches to your interior...

LOL NO it's not ridiculous...it's expensive. So draw it out! You can't change your mind once it's installed.

OR start looking at mustang pics maybe you'll find one with your colors. Whatever you decide, it'll look great!

If anybody knows someone who can photoshop or find some pics of a black exterior, tan interiour and tan light bar and also a black lightbar lemme know and post em'

Ok here is something you can do easily enough..

Print two pics of your ride, side angled. DRAW a black light bar and paste it. Now the second one you need to find some tan paper that closely resembles your car...if you can't find the color in any magazine..could be anything, you could actually go to a scrapbook store where they have tons of paper, but 1 sheet and cut it.
