May have to disable PATS or have the cluster reprogramed.

Im not positive but i dont think you have to disable pats to change the cluster. Im pretty sure its just a plug and play thing,

I do know this...to swap on 03/04 Cobra cluster into my 01 Cobra I would *HAVE* to get my PATS turned off or get the whole new 03/04 cobra cluster reprogrammed with my old 01 cluster info. Because that cluster I believe is where your key's responding goes when you put the key into the ignition...

I also believe though, with what you're talking about, that you'll be able to transfer your PATS "circuitry" from your cluster over to the Mach cluster and then it should just be plug in play.

Not saying your wrong, because i really don't know , But dont they sell complete replacement gauge clusters for white faced gauges, ya know. I cant see those being very popular and being able to sell many if you have to disable pats

You nd I both aren't 100% positive! I've heard multiple things about swapping clusters. Those were the two big things. Hence why I haven't swapped mine yet. Might (in the end) cost a lot more money then planned.

I know there's RT Grimm in central PA that does it and also the dealership too. You could call our RT Grimm stores in PA and ask them and see what they would charge. I think when I called a local ford dealership awhile back they said about 2-3 hours too replace. (don't know if it was a reprogram included in that though).

Yeah after ford told me 2-3 hours to replace it i laughed...it shouldn't take more than an hour. I'd say call that RT Grimm place near me in central PA and see what they charge. That should give you a ball park.
