egh I'd rather not get the roof fixed by covering it up. If I can't get the dents out I'll just replace it, as I already have another roof.

I'm confident that I can undent it, but atleast if I can't I have the new roof to fall back on, not literally of course. But I am prepping/rust proofing the entire unpainted area on the new roof just incase. That way I can atleast get right on with the install if I need in the future and not have to worry about boring stuff like prepping. lol anyone know of a way I could do that T=tops idea?

The roof panel is welded on not riveted. You will have to drill all the spot welds out from the old panel and pull it off and then place the new roof skin on and spot weld it on.

If i was to repair that roof i would replace the skin instead of taking the dents out. It would be much faster and easier for me at least. Not saying i couldnt fix it i would just rather spend 4 hours replacing the skin instead of doing all that bodywork.

Glad I'm not the only one. So far the roof prep for the new skin is coming along great, too bad it's getting too cold to work out side. Looks like this will have to wait until spring to get it really started.
