I used good old classic Turtle Wax. It you wanna bring out shine and your color is looking "dull" then I suggest you wet sand. Or at least do some sort of clear coat treatment. But I think what people don't understand is that waxing takes time. I do only about 2 sq. feet at a time. Most people "rush" through it in a couple hours (3-5). Me, I take about 8-10. A full day. Work in small areas. Don't cover the wax on 30 bazillion sq. feet and try to quickly run through it. I would spend some good time just "perfecting" the normal coat of wax. Then put some sort of polishing agent on the next day or so to keep that crisp, clean shine. If your car is still dull I would recommend you wet sand your clear coat, and re-polish. BUT ONLY DO THAT AFTER YOU WAX OR IF YOU'RE SURE YOUR CLEARCOAT IS FADING.

PS - Claybar helps too

My favorite "wax" and what i use is Wizards Shine-Master. I say "wax" because it protects and gives the shine and depth like wax but its not a wax. It is a breathable polymer sealent. It will remove swirl marks and light scratches also.

Then i follow that with Wizards Mist-n-Shine. It will make your paint so smooth and slicker than you've ever felt.

does it have any deep scratchs in the clearcoat?

If it just has light surface scratches and swirll marks, a coulpe coats of shine-master and a coat of mist-n-shine will do the trick.
