I'm trying to figure out if the GT emblem just "sits" on top of the honeycomb and not embedded. If it's not embedded than all you have to do is just put a "MACH1" emblem back on there instead of the "GT".

To me it looks like there is a flat spot in the shape of the gt emblem. Not a recesed area, but just flat. So the mach1 emblem might cover it up, but i dont know for sure.

I want to say i have seen different panels for the gt and mach1, with each one having a flat spot in the shape of the respective emblem.

nah guys, you have to select which panel you want, v6, gt or mach 1, my gt emblem fits flush inside the cutout for it, good piece IMO
