Tint diffrences?

i recently recieved a permit to tint my windows down to 5% (have a light sensitity issue bright light give me really bad migraines) but i am hesitant to do that on the front door as it may be hard to see at night. so my question is how much of a diffrence will there be between 5% and 20%? (visually)

A big difference. If you want something dark, get 15% on the sides and 30% on the windshield (if you can). I personally wouldn't go any darker than 15% b/c of how hard it is to see at night. But, in the end, it's all personal opinion.

5% is really dark. I currently run 5% on my back three windows and 20% on the front, as it is illegal to tint the front where im from, and i can see decently enough out the front to not worry about hitting something

i cant believe you got a permit to let you do it... states feel it is unsafe for a reason... i am surprised they just dont say to wear glasses or dont drive... haha i think its like saying "i have a abnormally large foot so i got a permit to speed"... or i have a tendency to fall asleep so i have a permit to not stop at stop signs

Yeah 5% will be really hard to see out of at night time. Headlights will look like little dots through it.

I also wouldnt go darker than 15% imo

ok, well im definitely not going 5% on anything but the quarters and possibly the back and 20 on the driver and passenger doors..and i was thinking 50% on the windshield

and on the subject of the permit.. it was somewhat like a prescription. my optomolegist (which is like the highest level off eye doctor from what i am told) wrote a letter saying that it was a need so the state approved it i'm not sure how it all worked lol
