Just ordered Taillight tint

i'll get some pics up with the tinted tails and HID's as soon as they come in. i'm pretty stoked haha yup i'm ricing the shit out of my car.

i have HID's and taillight paint...i dont concider it rice until you start putting decals all over it and LEDs all over the place.

lol yeah i was joking about the rice part. the tint was only 15 bucks so if it doesn't turn out nice i'll take them off and get them painted. i think it should look alright but you never know, i've seen some that look horrible and some that look great.

Did you get them off ebay thats where i got mine. And the tint deal goes either way. Both the tint and the paint "can" look great if somone knows what they're doing. I paid a guy at a local tint shop to do my tail lights. Charged me $30 and I could be happier. The I took and painted my 3rd brake light w/ the vht stuff and if you do it right it will come out right. Like i said both "can" look great. Heres some "ok" pics I will try to take some tomorrow if i get a chance w/ the car cleaned up it was really dirty when i took these.

Night time they look about the same, during the day,if your just drivin ,they look black, but as soon as you apply brakes Boom! there they are. I wouldn't worry about the cops though.

She told me the other day that my car sounded like shit because it was too loud. I told her you're the ONLY person I have met to say my car didn;t sound good/amazing/like sex/ etc...

She said well theyre all idiots and whatever you did to that car, you fucked it up. I was like Ok and walked out the room.

She also said that my dad said it sounded like shit and my dad look over at her like she was an idiot.. I laughed at that.

hey just to let you guys know...and I'm pretty sure this is true...my buddy told me that if you have tinted tail lights and you get rear ended, the person that hit you can blame it on your tail lights...just sayin

but this could be false all together...or not true in some states

According to Indiana law you have to have at least one brake light that's clearly visibly from 500 feet and at least two red reflectors on the back of your car. That's why I taped off the reflectors on my tail light before tinting them and changed my 3rd brake light to high output LEDs.

If someone rearends me, I'm still legal. Check your state laws if you're concerned.

gonna check oklahoma law, im going to freak out if i get rear ended. time for new taillights. (thats the bad part about using lens paint)
