im looking for a boss 351 and i cant seem to even find one online. if anyone knows where i can find one.

came as an option in a 71 mustang. and i reeeeealllly want one.

i dont want to say it, but im not too concerned at this point about price. i want one of those motors.. i found two completely original 71 boss 351s but one was 78,000 and the other was 90 something. i dont want the car, i just want the motor. the boss 351 was a cleveland based engine with i think yates heads is what they were called. or something like that. it was the most desireable and most capable motor in its day. i dont know too much about what years it was in production.. but it put up some pretty impressive numbers.

My dad recently sold his... it just sat out in our pole barn... completly stock.. i think it was a three speed.

ok so basically a boss 351 is a 4v 351 cleveland with yates style heads. ill settle for the heads if anyone can find them. an original boss block would be awesome though

Get your check book out. Rare engine. The few that I've seen sold in the $15,000 range. There is nothing special about the engine unless you are restoring a Boss 351 Mustang.
