I think you should get a stock 8.8 complete rear end at the junkyard, you can get one for about 150, put either 3.73 or 4.10 in that, and that already comes with t-lok in it. I got a set of Brand New set of BBK underdrive pully, not sure if I'm selling it though.
Your best bet, get a stock gt rear end from junk yard, and if you have a v6 go with 4.10 gears, you'll get some serious pull with that.

im not all into racin, i want somethin thatll pull me better than stock, but wont kill my daily driving. I talked to a man that has ran every gear from 2:73's to 5:36's and he said that the 3:55 is the best bet between racin and daily drivin.. so i guess ill take the advice of a veteran racer. id rather not change the rear end.. our local junkyard wants 250$ for a V6 rearend, stock 2:73's and open differential... so a 8.8 would be a lil more i would guess, and i dont have 250$ laying around.

i cant really afford all of that... i figure 80$ for a ring and pinion and i can put it in i believe... i get 80$ a week roughly, and i have to buy gas, so i need cheap stuff...
thanks for the offer though. |
