Kelly Clarkson Ditches Her $60K Hot Pink Stang

Recent rumors sugguest that American Idol star Kelly Clarkson recently ditched her $60K hot pink convertible Ford Mustang after finding out that it was not as unique as she once thought. Clarkson’s Mustang, which was customized by Galpin Auto Sports, was a duplicate of the car customized for adult film star Alana Evans.

Galpin Auto Sports calls this car “Blush”, a Mustang GT convertible that sports an exclusive mix of Galpinized pink iridescent paint. This stylish pony is accessorized with a Pioneer 7 touch screen audio/ visual unit which includes a DVD-based navigational system, matching 10-spoke, 20-inch Blingz’ Ghost wheels, massive, low-profile Nitto tires, Eibach springs, custom exhaust and a beautiful billet grille that tops a special, integrated pink CDC front spoiler. This is one pony that’s truly “pretty in pink.”

Evans, the star of “Britney Rears 3″ and host of “Private Calls”, recently stated “She was upset that I had the same car and threw a big fit”.  “It’s insulting because she doesn’t even know me. I thought, ‘What kind of American Idol is this?’ It’s funny because when Kelly had the car, some of my friends saw her and asked me, ‘Who was that fat brunette driving your car?’ ”

Recently Clarkson had teamed up with Ford’s “Bold Moves” campaign to flaunt the new 2007 Shelby GT500 in her latest music video “Go“.  So what’s next for Clarkson? Well, Galpin was the first to customize the Ford GT, who equipped the supercar with Le Mans Gulf Livery paint and features a set of GFG forged modular wheels by Geovanna.
