Your First Time At The Track With Slicks?

ROUSH Ford Mustang Launching At The Drag Strip

So you have finally realized its pointless trying to hook your Mustang at the track with cheap (or expensive) street radials, and you have gone the extra mile to purchase to a decent set of racing slicks. Well, great! The amazing performance and traction slicks have to offer can bring a smile to any racer’s face. Once the hammer is dropped, the rush of acceleration travels through your body and pins you against the seat. It’s no wonder that more and more people are starting to use them.

The Bullitt Is Back (Movie This Time)

Original Bullitt Movie Poster With Steve McQueenThe 1960’s classic “Bullitt” will be back, and this time we’re talking about the movie. Front Clip of A D.A.R.E. Ford MustangA few weeks back we received an email from Michael G. Adkins, a 1st Sgt. for the Caswell Co. Sheriff’s Office in Yanceyville, North Carolina. This isn’t the first D.A.R.E. car we’ve covered (remember the BUSTang?), but out of respect for authority (I wasn’t going that fast officer, honest!), and in hopes of scoring some brownie points with the local law enforcement, we’re gonna do another.

Giving Thanks Back - A Message From Our Community

WHT00GTThe members of Modded Mustangs have a deep sense of pride and admiration for our friends, family, and troops that are currently overseas - and even for the ones that are still home with us. One member of our online community would like to give thanks to the Modded Mustangs’ members and community that we have become.

As the 2006 holiday season reached its peak the members of Modded Mustangs have kept our troops in their minds, hearts, and prayers. Multiple threads on our message boards have been popping up for creating care packages for our members overseas, and many requests to donate money to create these care packages for our members who don’t have the ability to be home for Christmas. One member, WHT00GT, has decided to speak up and give his thanks to the Modded Mustangs community. The care packages have proven to be a moral booster in this long enduring fight for freedom.
