Remembering Travis

Saturday, July 7th marked one year since we lost MM moderator and friend, Travis_AFX. Travis was like a brother to longstanding members Ryan Klaussen (RK_2000_z28) and Brandon Jung (ForceFed) as well as a good friend to countless other MM’ers.  Ryan, Brandon and Jesse Carpenter along with many special others have turned tragedy into a campaign for awareness of clinical depression, a condition affecting 121 million people worldwide. Their tireless efforts aim to shift heartbreak into hope for afflicted victims and their families.  They carry on Travis’s love for cars and helping others in an effort to support those shouldering seemingly insurmountable circumstances.  For those new to the forums, you can catch up to the story here: We lost One Of Our Own Today

Twice Bitten

To vote is a privilege, to be nominated is an honor and to be victorious is to earn a place among Modded Mustangs’ elite.  Danielle, aka “01Sportchic”, has achieved this milestone and then some by receiving her second ROTM crown.  What started life as an unloved, mismatched and neglected 1997 cobra, is now a stealthy, finely tuned serpent now coiled and laying in wait.  The ASP is currently undergoing further metamorphosis, preparing for new power and new prey.

5 Point Oh, Oh My! 2011 Ride of the Year

It comes without ribbons,
It comes without tags,
It comes without packages, boxes or bags!
No, not Christmas; for the mustang owner (or former mustang owner) this is even better than Christmas.  Yes, I’m talking about moddedmustangs.com’s Ride Of The Year.  I’d like you all to join me in congratulating Digital_Synapse not only for his Ride Of The Month win in November, but also his clean sweep of a stellar group of mustangs in contention for ModdedMustangs.com’s ROTY, 2011.
