His hard work over the years has not only netted a very sexy ride, but a coveted Ride of the Month win for September 2013.

July 2010, a lifelong relationship was created between man and machine when Andy, aka MachStang! bought his first mustang, a 2003 with a V6. Mach spent 2 years with this Mustang before he decided it was time to upgrade and step into a more powerful horse. One hot summer day in August of 2012, a trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan would bring to reality a lifelong dream of owning a competition orange steed. At the time of purchase, it was completely bone stock with the exceptions of a BBK CAI and a full off road Mach 1 cat back exhaust system. The car was meticulously cared for by the previous owner and only had 74K miles on the clock. The GT sat in a garage for most of its life when not out cruising the streets of Michigan. Andy would change that.
Far and away the most recognized characteristic to any Mustang is its sound. Most enthusiasts can tell they are near a Stang simply by the notes coming from the exhaust tips. We scour Ebay, Craigslist, and forum classifieds for components to make our ride stand out without foreclosing on our home in the meantime. What happens when you cross 1969 old school muscle and style with 2013 technology? You get a car that screams raw power while turning the heads of everyone in the area. Dennis, otherwise known as 69Restomod, bought the car with his father as a restoration project. With no experience working on cars, this project became a memorable experience. After wrenching on the steed for 2 years, Dennis’ father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and passed away shortly after. He could not bring himself to continue building the car without his beloved father. The Mustang was put under the cover to sit once again.
