Remeber the famous Giugiaro Mustang Concept from back in 2006? While it’s pretty old news at this point, it’s actually quite important as it clued the world in on Ford’s determination to bring Mustang enthusiasts something new and exciting by 2010. Whether or not the next generation ponycar has an Italian flare is still open for debate, however one thing isn’t – Fabrizio Giugiaro can’t drive.

What do you get when you cross a… remember those jokes? Well this one isn’t a joke and, in this case, John Haugh of Cleveland, Ohio wrote it. The Tractorri Lamborghini Mustang , as he calls it, was built by combining a V-10 powered Lamborghini Gallardo and a Mustang GT. This is, quite obviously, not your typical Modded Mustang.

I’d like to jump right into the new 2008 Twister Mustang Special’s but first we need a history lesson about these little known cars. The “Twister” Mustang were 1970 and 1985 special editions that were built for, and sold exclusively by, dealers within Ford’s Kansas City District Sales Office. There were 96 1970 Mustang Mach 1 Twister Special’s and 90 1985 Mustang GT Twister II’s built, along with some Torino Cobra’s and Ranchero’s.

Ford Motor Company and the Lear Corporation have teamed up to offer more green to consumers, as in being more eco friendliness. Soy - as in soy milk, soy beans, etc. The same stuff tofu dogs are made of is going to be the base product in Ford’s new seat foam – starting with the 2008 Mustang.  Sounds good in theory, but what about the smell?

The 1960′s classic “Bullitt” will be back, and this time we’re talking about the movie. Originally made famous by Steve McQueen’s famous chase scene (see video below), the Bullitt has already had a classic and New Edge version Mustangs modeled after it, and yet another Bullitt Mustang is in the works by Ford in honor of the flick’s upcoming 40th anniversary.
