Saleen 550 - For Ford GT Owners Only

Steve Saleen has done much to improve upon Mustangs and enthusiasts everywhere are thankful for it. As a thank you Saleen has designed a one-of-a-kind vehicle dedicated to Steve and his hard work.

The Saleen 550, which debuted at the Ford GT National Rally II, was based on the S281 ‘Extreme’ Mustang. Only 550 will be available and come in the following flavors: Mark IV red, Tungsten, Midnight Blue, Speed Yellow, Mark II black, Centennial white, Satin silver, and the Gulf Heritage blue/epic orange combo.

There is one catch to this limited edition Mustang… only Ford GT owners can get their hands on it. The idea behind it is to offer the same horsepower you get with your GT, only in a more ‘daily driver’ type environment. You know, the little stuff like a backseat and enough ground clearance to clear a small speed bump.
