WrenchRat’s SparkArm

Ever melted a plug wire? Exhaust tempetures can be ruthless, but WrenchRat has a solution to this age old problem. Their SparkArm is actually a ceramic “extender” which is designed to withstand intense header heat up to 2000° F while conducting excellent spark to save those ignition wires from melting.

Most will only need one or two of these to solve their problems, though at $29.95 each the price is up there. But when compared to covering up those sweet ceramic coated headers with thermal wrap, or wire sleeving and plug boots this sounds like a pretty good alternative.

The SparkArm is designed to fit any non-hemi, cross-flow-head engine where the spark plug porcelain does not exceed .445″ diameter. The SparkArm measures 1/2″ diameter and about 4″ in length featuring a lockable pivot joint which allows for 360° of “fixed” adjustability. Six colors are availible for purchase; black, white, gray/silver, blue, orange and red. This product is installable within minutes by simply snapping the SparkArm on to the spark plug and popping the spark plug wire onto the tip.
