I just wanted to commend you on your work.
I used a 1985 Ranger that was going to be scrapped for my conversion. I think the castle nut needed to be ground down in the front, and the calipers needed some light clearencing. For the rear, everything from the Ranger went on, I just had to get another short side axle from the junk yard. I forget what the axle cost, but that's all the money I spent on the conversion for my 1984. I'm using the Ranger wheels as well.
We didn't know if it would work. Dad just thought the front looked close and I knew the rear could be done. I need to go back and get the seals, bearings and such before I actually drive the car.

If you use the short ranger axle in the fox housing the ranger wheels should be fine. I went with the 2002 sn95 axle because it was there, and they are 3/4" wider on each side, plus disc brakes! The car stops now better than any drum rear fox I've ever been in.

Yup, that's what we did. If I remember right, the Ranger drums went right on with no issues. The truck had factory 14" (6" wide I think) aluminum 10-hole wheels on it, which looked approproiate on it... and we didn't have any other 5-lug wheels to use at the time.

Um... the car is stripped and has no springs in it, but... yes. It has 2000 Ranger hub caps on. I think the other picture I have is with the newer base model steel Ranger wheels (and tires). These tires, I believe, came off the LTD wagon when I ditched it's original wheels.

Ahh, didn't realize it was that car! It looks good as it sits. You should go for that kind of stance.

Thanks! I like the stance it has, but there's no springs in it. It would be a harsh ride. Also, the sub frame connectors won't clear a 20oz Gatorade bottle lying on its side. I should look into air bags. Anyways, if you click the link in my signature, you'll see the newer Ranger wheels with truck tires in the first post. The car is like 60% Ranger parts as it sits. HAHA!
