I don't think it would work . You might be opening a can of worms even if you could . They cable has no play on that end . You would have to pull the cable back into the eng compartment and there is danger of kinking it . Imagine making a loop in the cable and clamping it to create a shorter cable .

its when you crawl under the dash, locate the end of the throttle cable at the top of the gas pedal. then pull the slack of the throttle cable and then attach the needed amount of zip ties to take the slack out of the cable.

basically what this little trick does is that it takes the slack in the cable out of it so that when the gas pedal is pressed the throttle is not opening enough to get the proper volume of air to fuel ration mix.

when the trick is used. it makes the engine run better and lets the engine perform to the specs it was designed for.

unfortunately i cant do it to my car without dismantling alot of the underdash... dang my fat hands...

I'm just full of dust and old car parts!

Totally possible. Make sure you don't take out ALL of the slack in the cable. Leave a little bit. There's been guys on here that have stretched out throttle cables/snapped off the stopper on the end and end up having to replace the entire cable. It's really handy to have on, since you can heel-toe for downshifts and makes the gas a little more touchy
