Got my gears in...now couple questions

I thought it would improve my gas mileage, but i literally watch it drop now.

i was also told put about 150-200 miles on em before i get on it. is that right?

also how will i know when theyre broken in?

I put in 3:73's.

Mine are brand spanking new. I drive it around town all day yesterday. Well when I got it back and it feels good. Pulls nice. And what not. I don't know. Maybe I'm paranoid? Haha

Yea I have 4.10's and I love them,Id Agree with the yellow stang lol in city i get great gas miledge because we can use 5th gear at like 40 MPH LOL! But on highway thats when she really screams,at 80-90 its at like 3k but its well worth it since im not on the highway that much either... But as far as breaking in,yea your suppose to break it in for 50 miles Mustang shop told me that just incase something is installed wrong or you have a light vibration and see if it gets worst,if your good then its time to put some slicks on and head to the track and launch at like 5k lmaooo jk jk

Well no vibrations and I drove it 50 miles. It's weird being in 4th gear at 2 thousand RPM's. Oh well, I like it. I just need the speedometer re-calibrated.

I did man... I went for a quick ride, and holy shit, I haven't been thrown into my seat like that in my car before. I love it! I'm gonna need a new clutch and fly wheel to get the full effect of it.

I put in 410's and I haven't noticed any change in gas mileage. If anything it may have gotten better slightly. Also, they say to drive it up to 500 miles for break in. But I only drove mine about 15-20 miles and I started to get on it. I've driven it hard and haven't hurt anything. The car is still doing fine. I will be popping the cover in the near future to change the gear oil again since the current oil will likely be bad from the break in.

Otherwise if your install is good your not going to hurt anything by getting on it now.

So I drove it sound today. And my gf doesn't think it's as powerful as it will be. She says they still need breaking in. Do they get better over time?
