funny idle problem

Just wondering what could be causing this problem. I'm getting a funny idle that revs kinda high and goes back down low but only when i just start it up. check engine is throwing a EGR valve position sensor gone bad but i have replaced it once. also, when i'm off the throttle the car seems to lose power and when i'm slowing down it seems to rev a little high. could i have a crack in my intake gasket? vacuum leak? any help would be awesome.

pull the vacuum off the egr and see if it stumbles which it shoud do at idle, if it doesn't there's ur problem, then check your iac pull it and spray carb cleaner and put back that should help.
