88 T-top frame cracks

I picked up a 88 GT T-top a few months back and I finally got to take a good look at it. What I notice was that there are 2 small on ein the driverside door jamb by the seat belt mount and one by the passenger side door jamb seat belt mount. I was wondering can these be repaired by welding the cracks and install subframe connectors or is this a more serious problem? I also noticed the engine apron has 2 small cracks one on each side. I know this means a front fender bender but the car was cheap and I dont mind repairing these things but I want it done the right way.

sound like the poor car was taken for one too many donuts.. that is a common place for cracks to appear when multiple trips in circles happen
