the people at my autozone are useless and wont give me a straight answer like they dont know what im talking about but does anyone know if autozone can check the codes on a OBD l computer for my 92 5.0
Use an analog ohmmeter or get one of those cheap $20 code scanners. Autozone should do it for your for free. Don't take their advice though, their employees are usually morons. Just have them write down the code and post them here.
I tried Autozone to get a scan for a CE light, they told me they can't check anything older than 96. You should be able to pick up a cheap scanner for like $30. Read my Quick Question post in this section.
The autozone employees couldn't get the reader to connect properly to my 94 gt, at least enough to get code readings. My airbag light flashes five times and then twice and finally stays lit steadywhil the car is in operation. Swell.
